We can build on production fundamentals in stage management, lighting, sound, vision and scenography to develop their knowledge to a personalised learning pathway. We can also support students during your actual performances ensuring that they know how to do the job perfectly whilst gaining valuable industry experience. |
Adventurous Activities and Sports
Arrows Archery
Using child-friendly equipment we have produced eight different activities introducing archery concepts and skills through fun activities rather than technical instruction. The activities enable you to use arrows archery as a way of encouraging learning in other areas; for example, maths through scoring, literacy through language, and citizenship though cooperation and self-discipline.
|
Traditional Archery
Archery is a sport for all. It helps to build muscle endurance and flexibility, developing hand eye coordination and body strength. Archery teaches discipline, respect and self-control - something that carries over into pupils' attitude, work habits and other school activities. Archery can also give the pupil a strong sense of personal achievement. Girls and boys of all abilities can participate.
|
Another ancient form of archery, the object of popinjay is to knock artificial birds off their perches. The archer stands near the base of the mast and shoots 'blunt' arrows upwards at the targets. This is direct descendent of the practice used by longbow men on ships in port in order to maintain their skill.
It is often played on a course of 9 or 18 holes. Archery Golf is a sport in which players shoot an arrow at a target; it is played using rules similar to golf.
Players complete a hole by shooting a arrow from a tee area towards a target, shooting again from the landing position of the arrow until the target is reached. Usually, the number of shoots a player uses to reach each target are tallied (often in relation to par), and players seek to complete each hole, and the course, in the lowest number of total shots.

Real slingshots shooting real projectiles are used so the activity takes place on appropriately-designed ranges and safety is of prime importance. This focus on safety makes target shooting amongst the safest of all sports and shooting develops in its participants a strong safety culture with a self-disciplined approach to the handling of hazardous objects.
Sport Crossbow
First introduced into England by the Normans in 1066, crossbows require full concentration and precise judgment; however, crossbow shooting is suitable for complete novices. Unlike other shooting experiences you don't have the noise of an explosion, just the terrifying and deadly swoosh sound from a bolt splitting the air.
Sport crossbow is a unique combination, requiring the skills of archery, and rifle shooting. It is a fantastic team building activity for enhancing communication and listening skills. We use the latest crossbows; fitted with either a traditional “open” style sight, or a modern telescopic sight.

We can also provide 'Sureshot' Crossbows for the youngest of children.
The Petron Crossbow is the ultimate target crossbow for young shooters. It looks and feels like a real Crossbow, but shoots super safe sucker bolts, ideal for the younger shooters but quite at home with all generations and equally suited for shooting indoors and outdoors.

Tomahawk Throwing
Axe throwing is a sport that involves throwing either a tomahawk axe or throwing angel at a target aiming for the centre. It is often played in lumberjack competitions and helps build hand eye co-ordination. Let the inner viking come out.
|
We can also provide 'Mini' axe throwing to introduce the very youngest of children to axe throwing in a fun and safe way. Using specially designed double and single hatchets let children develop a new skill and improve their self confidence throwing mini axes at a target.
Rifle and Pistol Shooting
Real guns firing real projectiles are used so the activity takes place on appropriately-designed ranges and safety is of prime importance. This focus on safety makes target shooting amongst the safest of all sports and shooting develops in its participants a strong safety culture with a self-disciplined approach to the handling of hazardous objects.

Paintballing
Real 'markers' firing real projectiles are used so the activity takes place on appropriately-designed ranges and safety is of prime importance. This focus on safety makes paintballing amongst the safest of all sports and shooting develops in its participants a strong safety culture with a self-disciplined approach to the handling of hazardous objects.

|
Kurling
The intention of the game is very straightforward, simply get more of your Kurling stones closer to the house centre, a circular target accumulating the highest score for a game; points are scored for the stones resting closer to the centre of the house at the conclusion of each end, which is completed when both teams have thrown all of their stones. Nudging the oppositions stones is perfectly acceptable and is part of the excitement.

Clear instructions make it easy for children to take the lead using our pre-cut, pre-drilled, so it just takes a hammer, a Phillips screwdriver and little time to assemble.
Once built the children can express their imagination and creativity by decorating the box with paint or markers, making each box unique and something for them to identify with over time. Then place in a quiet, sheltered spot in the garden and wait to see if a Robin, Wren or Pied Wagtail will raise a family in it! |

Soft play
The wide variety of different geometric shapes makes Clubz4Kidz Mobile Soft Play Kit an excellent way to improve muscle tone, increase balance and hone the motor skills. This is particularly helpful for children who may not enjoy traditional sports due to a poor sense of proprioception.
Our Mobile Soft Play Kit is aimed at younger children and is therefore particularly suitable for nurseries, schools, and parties. It can also be used as a part of sensory rooms, as the strong colours and interesting tactile sensations can be soothing for children with sensory processing disorders. The modular design of our Our Mobile Soft Play Kit Shapes means they can fit together in a range of different ways to suit the individual size and shape of different locations. |
Metal Detecting
Not only that, they'll enjoy exercising in the great outdoors, digging up unknown treasure, and maybe even cashing in on what they find!
